All hydro accounts are billed monthly and water/sewer only accounts are billed bi-monthly, and we offer several payment options for you to choose from. E.L.K. Energy is here to assist to make paying your bill easy and straight-forward.
You can opt to sign up for our pre-authorized payment plan.
If you have questions, a Customer Service Representative will be happy to answer them at (519) 776-5291 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday for assistance.
Complete the online form and submit it for our customer service staff to make the change to the account.
E.L.K. Energy Inc. is linked to all major financial institutions so you can make your payments from your bank’s website or at a bank ATM machine. Make sure your bank has your E.L.K. Energy Inc. account number to ensure that your payments are processed and posted to your account promptly. (Don't forget to put all of the digits to ensure it goes to the right account!)
Simply select your financial institution from the list below, log on to its website and complete your payment. You will need your account number to register E.L.K. Energy Inc. as a new payee. Allow three (3) business days for the payment to reach us.
You can also send your payment by mail with your remittance voucher and a cheque or money order made payable to E.L.K. Energy Inc. Be sure you allow enough time for your payment to be received and posted on or before the due date.

Drop your payment in our payment drop box located at the entrance of our building at 172 Forest Ave. Staff inside the building check the drop box every morning. If you wish to speak with a Customer Service Representative, you can call our office at (519) 776-5291 or come visit us in the office during our business hours.
Pay your bill online using Paymentus Corporation with Mastercard or VISA. Paymentus Corporation is an independent company and charges a convenience fee to pay your bill using their service, however, E.L.K. Energy does not retain any portion of the convenience fee.
To pay by credit card, you may phone 1-877-479-3227, or pay online through Paymentus Corporation.
If knowing your monthly payment in advance works better for your budget, then our Budget Billing Plans will work best for you. We estimate your monthly bill amount based on the previous 12 months of usage. Every October is our reconciliation month where your actual usage and estimated usage are reviewed and you will receive a credit or debit balance, depending on whether you used more or less electricity than the estimated amount.
Budget Billing is available through our Customer Service staff. Your account balance must be current before you can be set up on Budget Billing. Please contact the office at 519-776-5291 to find out what your Budget Billing amount would be. You can monitor your consumption and balance in your MyE.L.K.Account. If you notice you are in a debit balance, you can increase your payment at any time by calling the office to avoid a debit balance withdrawal during reconciliation month.
